Yoganescence is the natural extension of my own personal journey toward self-discovery and wellbeing. I first discovered yoga in 2007 and over the years my relationship with my practice has evolved alongside me. Whether it was juggling the demands of a young family while working full-time in the fashion industry or more recently as I recovered from cancer – yoga has always been my sanctuary, offering a warm and welcoming space to nurture my body and mind.
Having experienced the healing powers of yoga first-hand, in 2021, I chose to expand my knowledge in integrative medicine and yoga therapy. I became a certified yoga therapist to assist my patients in naturally managing their ailments through yoga therapy.
My practice has helped me connect more holistically with myself and build a deeper understanding of the five layers of my existence – in yoga, we call this Panca Kosha - or the process of balancing our physical, energetic, mental, intellectual & bliss states. This experience has been so powerful, I wanted to share it and the collective wisdom of all the mentors who shaped my journey. Through Yoganescence, I strive to create a welcoming community that inspires, supports, and guides practitioners of all levels. I now have over 1,000 hours of leading classes and it is incredibly rewarding watching others discover new aspects of themselves, as I continue to explore new horizons in my own wellness journey.
Growing up in the picturesque southern French countryside, I've always cherished nature; most of my classes carry a gentle breeze, the sound of the waves, birds chirping and grounding with the earth. My classes are deeply restorative, with creative flows and a keen emphasis on breath and alignment. For me, it is not just about physical alignment in the poses that is important but also about guiding you towards a closer alignment with your body, breath, heart and mind, allowing you to leave the class feeling more peaceful and inspired.
